Subway Cup Premier League Grandfinal: Contax defeated Matrics, 34 – 33 at Netball SA Stadium.
In an extraordinarily close match on Friday 09 August Contax came out fighting against Matrics, leading 10 – 5 at the end of the first quarter. Contax maintained their 5 point margin into the second half before Matrics started fighting back in the last quarter. However their Matrics strong final quarter wasn’t enough and the league team fell down to Contax by just 1 point in the last minute!
